  • Small (approx. A5/A4 finished size) £50

  • Medium (approx. A4/A3 finished size) £150

  • Large (approx. A3/A2 finished size) £200

PROCESS

  1. The first step is to pick a size!  There are 3 size options to choose from (small, medium, or large).

  2. Pay the deposit fee (depending on which size you have chosen for your animal pastel portrait).

  3. Ring me on 07517 468757 to discuss your portrait.  Please think about the kind of finished work you are looking for.  I will then book you into my schedule, once we have discussed the process and you are happy with the timescale.  If the painting is required for a certain date (a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion, or a present or gift to yourself or someone else) let me know.

  4. Next, choose a selection of photos that convey your pet’s personality.  Please note, the more you can send me by email the better, so that I can get the overall feel of your pet. Try to choose clear shots so I can see eye detail and fur detail. Close ups and overall shots, whether a head and shoulder shot or a full body with your pet lying, sitting, or standing, are all extremely helpful.  You may like a particular background too.  Email me at art@patriciajvalentiart.com

  5. Once the process begins, I will produce an outline drawing and will send this image by email for your approval, so that you can see the progress of your commission.  If there is anything you need added or changed at this stage, please let me know.

  6. I will then proceed to complete the piece and will email you with the final image for your approval.

  7. Once you have approved the finished painting, and you are entirely happy with it, I will arrange for mounting and framing.  Framing gives protection and longevity to your portrait, guarding against staining.   I will also include a certificate of authenticity, and the painting will be carefully wrapped and packed in a sealed box, ready for delivery.

  8. The final payment will be required at this stage, before the painting is shipped out to you.  Delivery can take 3 to 5 working days via tracked mail.
