Meet Patricia

Patricia’s passion for art, her deep love of animals, birds, and nature and the pleasure she gains from painting the natural world around her is her inspiration.  As a representational artist, Patricia discovered her talent at a very young age and has developed her artistic style over many years, painting in oils, pastels, acrylics, and watercolours.

Patricia uses complex backdrops against fragile themes, like her unique bird paintings which explore complementary hues with detailed backgrounds.  Every painting is carefully constructed. She has a deep concern for the plight of valuable endangered species, “I like to create paintings which evoke feelings and emotions, from the light shining from the animal’s eyes as a reflection of their vulnerability, value and worth.”  Inspiration is also taken from story books and her own creative poems.  Some paintings are enhanced with gold leaf. 

 Patricia paints from her home in Kent.  Her works have been shown in galleries, group exhibitions and art fairs locally and in London.
