After Purchase

You will receive an automated email confirmation of your order after purchase.

If you do not see it, please check your spam/promotions folder (do contact me if you have not received it for any reason).

(Please double check that you enter the correct email and delivery address at checkout because these are important for your order).

Packaging, Shipping and Delivery

All artwork is handled and packaged with the utmost care.

Original artwork is carefully packaged and sent by courier (DHL Express or Royal Mail Special Delivery).

Prints are packaged in a print sleeve or mailed in a sturdy tube. Prints are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery or Tracked and Signed within the UK, and by Royal Mail International outside of the UK.

Shipping costs include packaging and handling and depend on the dimensions, weight and price of the piece(s) of art purchased, as well as the shipping destination.

A shipping estimate is calculated at checkout (includes insurance and tracking). International buyers, please note that sometimes the amount you pay may vary from the estimate at checkout (for example, certain remote areas carry a premium). We will email you in case of any discrepancy.

Dispatch and Delivery Times

Most packages will be dispatched within 7 business days.

Domestic packages (within the UK) should arrive within 2 to 3 days from time of shipping.

International packages: please allow 2 to 4 weeks to ship to international destinations (depending on your location).

Customs Duties and Taxes on International Orders

Please note that it is the customer’s responsibility to pay any overseas customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees that may be imposed by your local authority.

This is in addition to shipping charges and is outside of my control. Please check with your local customs office for more details about possible duties and taxes and customs regulations in your country.

My order is a gift for someone. Can I add a message to it?

Yes, you will have the option to add a gift message at checkout.

Framing

Original artworks in my gallery are unframed, unmounted, unless stated in the description of the item. Some are offered with the option of framing and this is listed in the product description.

Prints available in my print shop are currently sold unframed and unmounted. I recommend that you work with your local framer to arrange for your print to be framed and/or mounted according to your preference.

Photos and Descriptions of Products

Every effort is made to represent the artwork on this website honestly and clearly. Please take the time to read the descriptions (including dimensions) and look at all the photos of the artwork you are interested in. Note that in-situ images shown are not perfectly exact to scale with the size of the painting and are there for display purposes only.

The dimensions of original artwork and prints are stated clearly in the product descriptions.

Look at colours on multiple screens, if you are concerned about colour variations. Colour reproduction on any screen/monitor is a close representation and therefore variations in the actual artwork may occur.

One of the beautiful things about owning a piece of artwork is appreciating how it looks in different lights throughout the day!

All originals are handmade and therefore have slight variations or what might be viewed as imperfections (visible brushwork, spots of paint, etc). This is part of what makes them unique and original pieces of art!

Return Policy

Every order is handled with the utmost care. My goal is for you to be 100% happy with your purchase!

Original Art & Gift Cards: All sales are final. If you have any problems with your order, please make contact.

Fine Art Prints: Please open and check your prints immediately upon receiving them and handle them carefully. No refunds are offered as prints are made through a separate company made from the original artwork. However, if there is a problem you can email me within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery to let me know the query.

My artwork arrived damaged or was not delivered or was lost or was stolen from my doorstep. Is this something you can help with?

All artwork is handled and packaged with the utmost care. I am not liable for any mishandling or failed delivery by the shipping service (DHL Express or Royal Mail, domestically or internationally), and I am not liable for any damage incurred post-delivery. I work hard to package each order with care so that it arrives undamaged, and I suggest you handle your new artwork with care when framing. While I package appropriately and work with established services to ensure your artwork is delivered safely and securely to you, please remember that I have no control over the transit of your item.

Situations that fall outside of my control will be handled on a case by case basis.

Damaged Print: If your print is damaged in transit, I am happy to handle this on a case by case basis with individual collectors who are able to provide details and documentation of the damage. Collectors may be asked to file a claim with the shipping service. I am unable to replace for free any prints damaged after delivery, so please place your print in a place away from possible water or heat damage, and handle the artwork with care when framing.

Not Delivered / Lost / Stolen: If your package is marked “Delivered” and yet is nowhere to be found on your doorstep, please first check your confirmation email to ensure that you input the correct shipping address. I am unable to replace any order if the shipping address is incorrect. If the address is correct and you believe your package to have been lost, stolen, or if you missed the delivery, you must contact the shipping service personally. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything I can do on my end, so am unable to address any failed delivery or theft issues directly. If a package is unable to be delivered, and is returned to me, I am happy to reship, but ask that you pay the for the additional postage. I am unable to reprint any order for free that has been not delivered, lost, or stolen.

Original Paintings

I create paintings throughout the year. When I create new work, I will advertise this in advance via my Collectors’ Club and through IG. Originals are available to purchase from my Collection pages.

I would like a print reproduction of an original piece of your artwork but I cannot find it in your print shop?

Prints currently available are listed in my Print Shop. I will, however, add to this range over the year and will inform my Collectors via the Collectors’ Club or through IG. Please contact me to let me know which original artwork you are interested in having a print of and I will do my best to arrange this for you via the contact form.

How do I commission a painting?

I create fine art paintings using oil paints or soft pastels, and each piece is painstakingly developed. Use the commission page to tell me what you have in mind for your commission (e.g. Pet Portrait, or Bird or Animal Painting. If you enter your telephone number and email address onto the form, we can discuss the process and your requirements in more detail.

Please note that oil paintings take a substantial time to dry (at least 4 to 7 weeks). I will not ship an oil painting until it is dry enough to ship securely. Therefore, this must be considered into the timescale for any oil painting.

Ownership of Artwork

All artwork is the sole property of myself, Patricia J Valenti, and is held under copyright (even after purchase). The images, artwork, and contents of this website may not be copied, collected, or used for personal or professional gain without the written permission of myself, Patricia J Valenti. All images of artwork, sold or otherwise, are retained by myself, Patricia J Valenti.

Patricia J Valenti retains the right to make reproductions of any and all artwork created, unless the collector has purchased the full or partial rights to the artwork (in addition to purchasing the original). The Collector or Buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without the written permission of myself. Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing full or partial rights to your painting.

When you purchase an original painting, you are the Collector/Buyer, and you have the right to display the artwork in your home or business, but the image of the original artwork may not be reproduced without my written permission.
